On Saturday October 4th Diane and Amanda attended the Friendship Cup Marching Invitational. It was at our home staduim. We were there to watch Connie march with Thornton High School. The competition started at 10:00 and ended at 3:45. Then if you were lucky enough to make the top 12 bands it started again at 6:00 to 9:45. Thornton High School was not that lucky but Diane and Amanda returned that evening to watch the bands march again. We were really there to watch the Navy and Airforce Drum and Bugle Corps compete for the coveted trophy. Navy must have won it last time, because they are the ones who brought it in. Here are a few pictures of the day. Next Saturday we are heading to Greely for another competition and I will post a video of Connie marching.
