In June we went to Manti with the Lees and Grandma and Grandpa Theobald to see the Manti Pageant. It was a really fun weekend. We went and saw the peageant on Fricay night and then again on Saturday night. Saturday it rained all day but by 8:00 the sun came out and the show went on, but it was freezing cold. Most of the kids stayed in the warm trailers. Here are a few pictures of us.

Before the show you can go around and talk to the cast members. Amand and her College friends had fun meeting them all. The boy in this picture played Moroni on the hill.

Fathers Dav at the Lees

This year we had Fathers day a week early as we were going to the Manti Pageant and would be out of town for the real Fathers Day. We went over the the Lees for a really nice dinner. Here are a few pictures of our time there.

Hail Storm June 14th

We have had some pretty wild weather this summer. Here are some pictures of the big hail storm that tore through Denver. It was amazing to watch all the rain and hail. It looked like it had just snowed.

On June 7th, it was a really stormy afternoon and we went outside and took these pictures from our front porch. These Twisters were a couple of miles away and didn't do any damage that I know of but were exciting to see.

Pictures of Avery Anne Waken

These are some pictures of Avery Anne Waken. I got to babysit her last week and they brought her bath tub, she sure likes to play in the tub. She played and splashed and threw a fit when I took her out.

A couple of weeks ago Jenny and her Mom took Avery to Kiddie Kandids (I think that is the name) and had her picture taken. The pictures turned out so cute I had to share them with you.

I just love this picture, she is so sweet. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. It seems like just yesterday she was born and now she is almost 4 months old.

Sunday May 31st

These are some random pictures taken on Sunday May 31st.

This picture is Megan and her boyfriend Aaron Blunt. In the previous post there were some pictures of them but they were hard to see. They say they did not plan to dress to match, but I wonder.

This is Phillip standing outside by his Explorer and Megans new car. Luckily she was able to find a car she could afford. It is a cute little thing. She was riding with her friend Sabrina in this car and ask her if it was for sell. Sabrina said it actually was and so Megan was able to buy it from her.

My cute little Avery, she is 3 1/2 months old and she is adorable.

Memorial Weekend Camping Trip 5-24-2009

After Connies Graduation party we headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park to camp for the weekend. It was beautiful up there. We played games, walked around looking at all the beautiful scenery, relaxed by the fire and just enjoyed the mountains. Phill always says the worst day camping is better than the best day at work. It was cold and rainy, but we didn't care. We love to go to the mountains and camp.
